Greetings all,

I'm interested in contributing to the openSUSE project. I've used SuSE
in the past (versions 5.x and 6.x), and the combination of better
user-oriented polish and my current Linux distribution shipping a live
CD that misleadingly didn't provide any warning before wiping the
target partition, has made me decide to get involved in openSUSE more.

I'd like to eventually be involved in package maintenance, which as I
understand is currently not possible (an internal developer has to
approve and commit changes), so in the meantime I'll probably stick to
testing and mailing-list discussions.
