I have been complaining for a few days about the front-page craziness

http://en.opensuse.org) for a home page of a site. New users want just
the few vital links, and I think you've done it pretty nicely there. A
few things:
* The front-page will either have to have some type of text/graphic
openSUSE banner, or have a bigger openSUSE logo, I think. As it is now
it's a little tucked away.
* I'm wondering about 'Discover it'. Perhaps that whole thing should
be changed to a Support one, where the support page links to
Documentation and Community-related support areas (IRC, Forums;
basically, Communicate page). Or maybe "Wiki" should be changed to
"Documentation"? I'm not really sure.
* Also, I'm not sure that the countrycode is necessary before the
actual language. i.e. so just have "English" instead of "en -
English".
* With regard to the OBS, I'm not sure we want all standard users to
have the 'create it' thrown at them, since creation of packages etc is
only for developers. Maybe that should be changed to a 'Participate'
or "Get Involved" etc which in turn would have all the methods of
getting involved (packaging, documentation, artwork, etc).
Hm, I'm wondering if this should've gone on the -wiki list with the
discussion about the other site mockup proposal.
Anyhow, nice stuff 8)
Kind thoughts,
Francis.
