This is the version I have on SuSE 10.0 is emacs-21.3-206

Check all the related emacs RPMs, such as the -el stuff to make sure they 
are all the same release. Looking at the 10.1 DVD:
emacs-21.3-224.i586.rpm
emacs-x11-21.3-224.i586.rpm

I would suggest that you delete the emacs packages that are installed on 
your system and reinstalled them from the media again just to confirm that 
they are all the same revision and that they install correctly.
