It was feet (I type fast and sometimes leave out a letter). You've probably
seen pictures of Hueys carrying 6 troops with 3 on each side with their
feet hanging out. It seems that in another unit a soldier fell out at
altitude, so that the group commander put out an order that troops must
keep their feet inside the aircraft at altitude. On this particular day,
the group commander was in our area and our company commander was chewing
us all out.
