Hi, If your computer is good enough (at least P3 and minimum 256M) I recommend NetBeans from Sun. You can download if together with JDK. I've been using it for more that 3 years and I like it. You will also find a wizard to help you create simple applets. Best, Dinel
Can anyone suggest how I get JDE->compile to work in xemacs on 8.2?
I'm using java for the first time in over a year and this feature is new to me. Currently I'm compiling from a shell with /usr/lib/SunJava2/bin/javac, but I'd like something a bit more like standard C/C++ compiling and I'm too used to C/C++/Perl/Python to give up xemacs.
