hi, guys,

I can't open emacs as a root.
When I tried, I got the following message,

linux:/home/shin0135/03fall/cs5551_uid/pro1 # emacs memo3.c &
[1] 2925
linux:/home/shin0135/03fall/cs5551_uid/pro1 # Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Invalid XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 key (failed key comparison)
emacs: Cannot connect to X server :0.0.
Check the DISPLAY environment variable or use `-d'.
Also use the `xhost' program to verify that it is set to permit
connections from your machine.

wha can I do to fix this ..?

Thanks,
