I dont know what a ComSlot ethernet card is. According to google

perhaps some tulip card.
I'm not sure if my G3 actually "sees" the card, but when I tried to run
the installer on my 5400/180 I just got, the Comm Slot II Ethernet card
was shown as a PCI card with lspci and the DEC Tulip module was
automatically loaded. I think that since the G3 already has a BMAC port
on the motherboard that it may not be able to use the ethernet comm
slot card and may only make use of the 56k modem cards..... I will
have to try to do some further testing. The 5400/180 does not have a
built-in ethernet port.
