Hi all,

we are glad to announce that the POWER team at SuSE was able
to join the OpenSuSE development!

With Beta3 we start to make available CD ISOs on OpenSuSE.org:

http://www.opensuse.org/index.php/Download#Development_Build


As we were invited to join at short notice, not everything is in
a status we would like to have it. Beside that, we are confident that
the current code is a good base to start with.

There are allready some issues/bugs we know about:

For the moment, I would suggest to discuss all PPC specific stuff on
this list, whereas it makes sense to discuss general issue (in
