Hi Suse-PPC-Users, I have Problems installing any network-card on my PM 6400. The "onbaord" Apple LAN-Card in the CSII-Slot works in the moment after the Installation, ut if I use yast to configure something from this time on my network-card is death. So I bought me another card with a Realtek 8139 chipset. With this card its the same .... it does not work .... But I don´t gave up. I installed Linux on my G3 B/W 350 with the onbaord card it was like on the PM6400, it does not work. So I tried here the Realtek-card. and the result -->> It works. So cann someone of you give me some tips or reason, how i can install one of my network-cards on my PM 6400 ?!?! I Work with an PM 6400 with 64 MB RAM a 1GB SCSI-HD and a 2GB IDE HD I use Suse PPC 7.1 thankx for all. **************************************************************************** Und nun das ganze noch in Deutsch. Also ich habe ein Problem mit meinem PowerMac (oder Performa) 6400. Ich bekomme es nicht geregelt, irgendeine Netzwerkkarte auf dieser Mühle zu installieren. Weder die Onbaord (die vom CSII-Slot) noch eine PCI-Karte mit Realtek 8139-Chip. Beide Karten laufen unter MacOS9.2 wunderbar, aber unter Linux 7.1 tut keine was. OK die Apple-Karte funktioniert direkt nach einer Neuinstallatio, solange ich noch nichts mit Yast verändert habe. Zum Test habe ich das ganze auch noch auf meinem G3 B/W 350 mit fast nem GB RAM versucht. Die Apple-Eigene Karte geht hier auch nicht. Aber die Realtek karte läuft hier fast einwandfrei. Ich kann pingen usw. nur bekommt er das mit dem routen noch nicht ganz hin. Ich kann keine Webseiten anschauen, obwohl er eine Verbindung zum Router herstellt. Hat jemand ne Tip oder ne Idee, wie ich den 6400 mit einer von beiden Karten zum laufen bekomme ???
