Hello,

I may already send a e-mail on the subject

I installed the Cyrus-IMAP and Cyrus-SASL rpm packages from SuSE7.3 on a PC 
and it works perfectly with Postfix and Procmail. The packages were very well 
constructed.

I would like to have a backup server at job but the only available stations 
are Imac's or G3's.
Thus I have SuSE7.3PPC on a G3. The Postfix rpm. package delivers a working 
application without problems but ...

There seems to be some bugs with the Cyrus-IMAP or Cyrus-SASL rpm. packages.

If I try to configure Cyrus-IMAP with the instruction:

G3: # cyradm -u cyrus localhost    ==> nothing happens
.... and when I say "nothing" it means nothing, just a blinking cursor 
waiting for who knows what, no error message, no log messages, nothing, niks, 
nada. mekesch...

Idem with instruction imtest.

I installed the same basic config on the backup server.

Is there a specialist of the PPC version who can tell me what the problem is? 
Are the Cyrus-IMAP and Cyrus-SASL for PPC desperately inoperative?
