There is an extension board on the power mac 4400/200
that has a network card slot and 2 pci .

I of course can get both PCI slots working with nic
cards under mac OS 8.5 but I cannot get 7.1 to
recognise the extension board . 

Is there a driver out there for download for the
extension board ?

Its frustrating since the old 486 have an extension
board which have been supported for a long time but
the extension board on my mac hasnt been setup
properly and thats my connection to a network . 

Any ideas before I build my own driver finally ?
