I use stty -F /dev/ttyS0 57600 [other options here] in boot.local to configure my printer interface and it works. (SuSE 7.3/PPC)
I also did, under the same system, but again I get 38400. Is there anything running after boot.local, that changes it back?
When configuring a serial printer with lprsetup, I had to erase the baud rate setting to prevent a :br#12345:" setting in /etc/lp. This did not work for me. Setting the baud rate in /etc/boot.local did work, but then the lpd must not set it again. Gruß, Uwe
