Hi,

I don't know if this can be of any help. I had problems to find a good
working mode for a Powerbook 98 ("Wallstreet"). Here is the solution
found : try to set up a frame buffer video (fbdev, without the ati
driver) then take the generated XF86Config obtained and replace "fbdev"
by "ati". You have to start the whole session with "no video driver"
set, which you can remove afterwards.

In any case, I attach my XF86Config file, if it may help you

Cheers

Damir
