Hello everyone

I'm having some problems getting my Voodoo3 card to work in XFree86, version
4.0.2 (the one that is installed with 7.1). I'm using a fresh install so I
haven't had the chance to mess anything up yet (at least I don¹t think I
have ;). Anyway, here's my current setup (at the things I think are
important in the matter):

- Beige g3@266Mhz

- Built-in ATI Rage Pro video card, based on the Mach64 chipset. (not used
at all)

- Voodoo 3 3000 PCI (16mb video memory) used as the primary card

When I installed SuSE I picked the 2.2.18 from the list of kernels, the one
with 3dfx support. I also picked the "tdfx" driver when I configured X using
SaX2, yet when I try to start X with "startx", it fails, with the following
errors recorded in my X86Free log-file:

http://www.student.hig.se/~nd00ndn/XFree86_0.log

And here's a copy of my X86Config file:

http://www.student.hig.se/~nd00ndn/XF86Config.current

I'm not sure if what info I should link to, other then this, so I hope its
enough to solve the problem :/

I would really appreciate it if someone here, who has knowledge of this
could help me out, since I'm dying to get my Voodoo3 to work...

Thanks in advance

/Niclas Davidsson
