Does anyone know why python-gobject is disabled for all repos except Tumbelweed? just including d:l:p as additional repo might be easier,

Worst advise possible... Pygobject 3.14 is part if the GNOME 3.14 stack. Updating only parts of it will only buy you trouble. Accept that you run an old OS as a base platform... Get security backports, or move forward in time to a new release, which comes with up to date GNOME stacks... Don't mix and match and then ask for help. As for pygibject being disabled in d:l:p except TW: seems to be the only sensible way to go with it... Current versions are based on GNOME 3.16, scheduled to move to 3.18 by about end of the month.
