Just out of curiosity: do we have a 'dependency graph' of what would be affected along those packages being dropped?
I mean: if it's leaf packages, we probably care less (or don't have to be that afraid) to drop them as opposed to dropping 'python3' for example (which figures on your list).
No, I have not - only for things on the DVD I can check why they are there. I could emulate a drop though in patching out the package from the meta data and run an installation check for the repo.
