The fix to the brp-script should, in ANY case, be done but probably
amended to emit a warning of that linker behaviour, e.g.:
I talked to Rudi, who maintains the brp-suse package that contains the
script and he's fixed it along with a warning.
Perl's ExtUtils::MakeMaker should probably also be fixed, it
seems to insist on setting RPATH, even if only to an empty value.
