Hello all,
openSUSE 12.1 Milestone 5 will be released next week, on Thursday 01 September 2011.
Please submit your packages before Friday afternoon (UTC time) to make sure they will get included in this release. Leaf packages submitted during the week-end might also get accepted on Monday.

Thanks,
Before actually releasing a new milestone we need to do a full rebuild to fix what making --no-copy-dt-needed the default actually uncovered ( stuff that was already broken anyway)
There is also a slim chance that some (broken) applications will fail at runtime, since shared libraries will not break at build-time if they have undefined symbols unless -no-undefined is passed to the linker proper.
I don't see a need to hurry to rebuild _before_ the milestone, but possibly I didn't understand the problem well enough. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
