I have a problem with workrave (X11:Utilities) package. It requires python-cheetah for build, unfortunately there is no such package in openSUSE_11.3 (in my branch I link it against devel:languages:python). So how do link single package against another repo? Or should the link be added to the project X11:Utilities? If so, how could it be done - I'm only a maintainer of this package, is there some ''request add link'' option?
You can link or aggregate the python-cheetah package, see http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_Tips_and_Tricks#link_and_aggre... the _link and _aggregate section of the page has an explanation what it means and shows example on how to implement it.
Thanks for tip - but I'm only a maintainer of the single package, so I cannot link another package to project. Is there any magic trick for submit link to project?
Not sure if I get what you are after. Maybe you are looking for a submitrequest?
-> osc sr ......
Yes, I think so (and already have done so). I'm just curious if is there any possibility to link one package in project against another projects pkg - just to prevent space.
That's what _aggregate and _link are for.
OK, thanks for explanation.
