I've already given them a patch to enable the libdir to be passed to
scons and allow static library builds to use shared system libs which
they've incorporated in svn. When I have a moment I'll pass them some
more. They only build openCOLLADA for windows and mac. I'm not sure what
the blender devs use, I think they build against pre built static libs.
