The line is as simple as: - Type of Patch
will there be a list of patch types to select from or will the patch type be a free form string?
the list is limited and is what can be found on the wiki page linked. The valid ones are: PATCH-{FIX|FEATURE}-{OPENSUSE|SLE|UPSTREAM} plus a special case PATCH-NEEDS-REBASE
What means "rebase"? I never heard this before.
Generally it means to change the basis of a patch, usually to make a patch based on old code apply to (be based on) on a newer version. Here's a german explanation of the git rebase command, which probably includes a lot of git specific stuff but the concept is the same: http://de.gitready.com/intermediate/2009/01/31/intro-to-rebase.html HTH Will -- Will Stephenson, openSUSE Team SUSE LINUX Products GmbH - Nürnberg - AG Nürnberg - HRB 16746 - GF: Markus Rex -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
