Actually, as the maintainer you can directly work in the devel project andAh, OK. This is the first and only package, where I'm co-maintainer, so
submit it without the need to prepare it in another branch project.
I still don't know all of my possibilities...

You can even submit directly to factory, by passing the devel project even
when you are not the maintainer. But this should be the exception and the
risk that your submission will get refused is quite high.
