Apologies, if this is not the right list. Which one is it?

Assume you have a bug in bugzilla. The bug is in status resolved fixed,
the update "has been added to maintenance queue now" and SWAMP says:

Update released for: <package>, <package>-debug, <package>-devel
Products:
openSUSE 11.1 (debug, i586, ppc, x86_64)

Is there a documentation for the workflow an update has to go through? And
is there a way to find out where the update currently is in the workflow?

Not yet, but we plan something like that.

Or: How long will it take approx. from the SWAMP message above till the
update appears in the update-repo?

You can check the -test update repo for the update to appear. Some days
afterwards (usually in the next week) it will be approved for the
external update repo.

Ciao, Marcus
