OK, I tried one week ago. After patching a little bit the configure
process in the 1.5 tarball, and installing mercurial with the forest
extension and some other stuff, I eventually managed to pass the
configure. Nevertheless, at compile time, I got a problem because the
compiler I used (gcc 4.1.2 from SLED10-SP2) did not support generics in
java code. Maybe someone on recent openSUSE could be having more
success. I was only not able to upgrade my system because I need to be
operational untill SP2 is released.
Cheers

| As they should have the 64bit java web plug-ins included, it would be
nice to
| have them available ... also fro development of course.
| I've seen quite some activity on ubuntu / fedora.
