I use kdf on 11.3 although it's time to update to factory and it wasapprox $1 each.
automatically used with a pleasantly surprising 100% dvd write, even
dirty ones and I no longer need to manually reduce the writing speed. I
should imagine blu-ray frisbees are quite costly.
with wodim, the write takes forever (0x6 approx) and always fails at
fixing. The disk seems to be good though.
With cdrecord from Joerg, the write is done at full (4x) speed and
witjhout error.
