I think that if you want a DVD drive to work, than either videocd or dvd format
would work best. I use a combination of tovid, makexml, and dvdauthor for that
purpose, and haven't had any problems yet. It will convert your file to the
correct mpeg standard, create your DVD menu (can be very simple), and create
the DVD structure. From there K3B should have no problem burning your DVD for
you.
