The chip is supported on ALSA 0.9.0 (as intel8x0 driver).
On SuSE 7.3 there is only ALSA 0.5.x, so you'll need to upgrade the
ALSA by yourself. And please beware that ALSA 0.5.x and 0.9.0 have no
compatibility with each other...
