Hello, I am still fighting against the plantronics dsp 100 usb headset under suse 9.2.
Ok, the problem seems to be the laptop I use: on my shuttle home PC it works at once, without yast or any config! do i need to have the headset connected at boot?
yast does not find a usb sound card, entering usb-audio as module in yast - hardware - sound gives an error about "maybe wrong I/O parameters" if i try to load the relevant modules by hand: snd-usb-lib and snd-usb-audio are loaded without parameters, simply by modprobe or insmod, no errors appear. I guess yast is omitting the snd-usb-lib module, if i do not load this manually i also get an error ... usbview and lsusb show the headset correctly, but KDE won't playback and capture from this. Analog headset, micro and speakers work flawlessly. the pc is an acer travelmate. Any help appreciated!
