Hallo zusammen,

da Xine Schwierigkeiten hat, nach Filmstart, irgendwelche Befehle 
anzunehmen (friert ein), habe ich xine-check laufen lassen.
Hier bekomme ich Hinweise auf X-server und ATI- Karte und steh' auf 
dem Schlauch!
Weiss nicht was ich tun soll!

Das system hier SuSE 8.2 mit Xine 0.9.21 und mit der Grafikkarte  
ATI 3 D Rage Pro AGP (ca. 6 Jahre alt)

Brauch' ich eine bessere (aktuellere) Grafikkarte oder geht das auch 
anders - ohne Gefahr zu laufen irgendetwas zu zerdeppern?
(Mächtige Eingriffe ins System machen für mich eigentlich keinen Sinn 
- zumindest bei meiner Glotzgewohnheit nicht!)
Dann lieber irgendwann 'ne andere Karte - oder??

[ hint ] Your X server doesn't have any XVideo support...
         XVideo is an X server extension introduced by XFree86 4.x. 
This
         extension provides access to hardware accelerated color space
         conversion and scaling, which gives a great performance 
boost.
         If you have a fast (>1GHz) machine, you may be able to watch 
all
         kinds of video, anyway. You will waste lots of CPU cycles, 
though...
