Hi,
I've got a Omnibook XT1000 with "Extra Mediakeys" on my keyboard like
'Email', 'Browser', 'MP3-Player' etc. and I would like to make them work
under KDE.
What I have done sofar:
=======================
I installed the kernel module omnibook (from sourceforge "omke projekt")
I made modprobe omnibook
I can see the scancodes generated by hitting the keys using the program
"xev"
What I don't know:
==================
How do I put these scancodes to work (e.g. launching a program like
evolution, konqueror, xmms, etc.)?
Where do I have to write stuff?
What do I have to do to use the "Shortcut Function" of the
KDE-Menueditor?
Is this a X-Issue or a KDE-Issue (I suggest X)?
Thanks a lot for your help
Cheers Moritz
