Meinst Du quicktime4linux ? Im Text auf der Homepage steht:
"Be aware of one thing:  Quicktime for Linux won't read any of the
movies you download from the internet."

Du merkst, Quicktime ist eine Samlung von Codecs. Und das im Internet am
verbreitesten ist das erwähnte Sorenson-Codec.

Also, nicht einfach downloaden, sondern auch mal lesen für was es gut
ist ;-)
