Hallo Roy und Ihr anderen!

Das hat bei mir leider keine Veränderung gebracht. Bei mir geschieht 
folgendes:

philipp@rowman:~> gphoto2 --camera "Olympus C-2100UZ" --port usb: 
--list-folders
Status: Initializing 'Olympus C-2100UZ'...

Folders in /:
"DCIM"

Was soll dieses "DCIM" heißen?

Number of pictures in folder /: 0

Wieso habe ich keine Bilder auf dem Chip?


Diese Meldungen kommen, egal ob ich die Camera vor oder nach dem Booten 
anschließe und einschalte.

Noch eine Idee? Benutzt Du ein graphisches Programm wie kamera oder GnoCam? 
Da schlägt bei mir leider schon das Kompilieren fehl.
