gestartet - dann auch mit anderer IP und HOSTNAME - dann Vmplayer
auf eine ganz andere Linux-Maschine im LAN lotst, dann ist eth0
wieder notwendig. Es sind nicht alle Installation Milchmädchen-Installationen.
Außderdem geht per NAT keine Fernwartung mehr, mit VNC.

Ich habe noch wie etwas anderes als ifup gemacht.
STARTMODE=boot ist schon längst getestet, den ifplugd habe ich auch schon
durch Umbenennen und reboot völlig tot gemacht. Hilft alles nicht.
acpi=off habe ich auch schon getestet, das NIC wird also auch ohne ACPI
abgeschaltet.
Habe es gestern mit einem Amilo v2010 getestet: unter suse 9.2 problemlos,
unter 10.2 gehts nicht mehr. Es liegt also nicht an der Hardware, sondern
entweder: an Suse 10.2 oder am 2.6.18 oder an anderen VMware-Kernel-Modulen.

Vmware war jeweils nicht gestaret.
ACPI habe ich mal beim booten mit acpi=off abgeschaltet, das NIC wird dennoch abgeschaltet,
es ist also keine ACPI-Funktion die mit Suse 10.2 "endlich" lauffähig ist.

Vmware war jeweils nicht gestaret.
ACPI habe ich mal beim booten mit acpi=off abgeschaltet, das NIC wird dennoch abgeschaltet,
es ist also keine ACPI-Funktion die mit Suse 10.2 "endlich" lauffähig ist.
