This solved my problem.
Der Abschnitt in meiner xorg.conf lautete Section "Monitor" DisplaySize 330 210 HorizSync 30-40 Identifier "Monitor[0]" ModelName "QUANTADISPLAY MONITOR" Option "DPMS" VendorName "QDS" VertRefresh 43-75 UseModes "Modes[0]" Option "MonitorLayout" "LVDS,STV" EndSection Dann funktionierte X-windows. Jetzt benutze ich den proprietären ATI treiber. Gruss Hugo
