Hi!
In hope for a working suspend-to-RAM I have updated from 9.2 to 9.3 :-(
Anyway, now I have some problems, with NIC, scpm, NVIDIA and most important
with USB. For the first two problems I have found a workaround, for NVIDIA I
use now nv. But for the USB-problem I do not know how to resolve, which means
I can not use my USB-mouse anymore. Actually there is no USB-device working
at all (USB-stick, camera). It seams that there is no USB-subsystem
available.
lsusb shows nothing as well as there is no USB-related module available in
lsmod. Inserting any kind of USB device does not show any response
in /var/log/messages. Loading some of the USB modules manually and inserting
a USB-device also shows no response.
Indeed
grep usb /var/log/boot.omsg
gives no output at all!
Any hint?
Best regards,
Michael
PS: Of course I have contacted SuSE-installation support, but they claim this
is not covered by the installation support.
