Hallo Liste!
Ich habe bei meinem Acer TM661 (Centrino-Chipsatz, leider)(Intel 855GM).
WLAN und Smart-Media-Reader habe ich vorerst aufgegeben, aber zumindest
die Auflösung von 1400x1050 sollte funktionieren, da sonst alles etwas
verschwommen (interpoliert) aussieht.
Nur leider schaffe ich es nicht!
Ich bekommen folgende Fehlermeldung, wenn ich mit sax2 einrichte:
(EE) I810(0): No valid modes.
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.
Muß ich Modelines selbst ändern? Habe ich auch mit Beispielen versucht,
hat gar nichts gebracht.

unter Windoof geht es ja auch...
Ich hätte auch schon mal den original Intel-Treiber auprobiert, ist aber nur binär für Kernel 2.4.18 und 2.4.19 verfügbar, ich habe SuSE-Linux 8.2 mit Kernel 2.4.20 und manchmal 2.4.21.
Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich an den richtigen Modus rankomme?
