Sony Vaio -PCG FR215 Laptop: Installation von 8.2 nicht möglich

Hallo, habe Sony Vaio -- PCG- FR215 M Notebook, 14 Tage alt, ATI Radeon IGP 345 M Grafikkarte, Win XP vorinstalliert, 1 USB-Maus angeschlossen. Habe Linux DVD und CD 8.2 ausprobiert, sowohl textbasiert als auch mit grafischer Oberfläche (Ein Bekannter hat ältere Linux-Version aufgespielt. Die funktionierte. Weil ich neu installieren musste, ist die Version gelöscht und Lieferzustand mit Windows XP wieder hergestellt.)
