Hallo, Das ist jetzt kein direktes Laptop-Thema, aber da ich im Moment nur auf der Laptop-Liste angemeldet bin ... Bisher hatte ich Evolution 1.4.x von www.usr-local-bin.org auf meinen SuSE 8.2 Maschinen noch nicht zum Laufen gekriegt (Ursache: unbefriedigte Abhaengigkeiten). Inzwischen habe ich aber eine Loesung gefunden (mit 1.4.3); 1. Editieren von /etc/ld.so.conf und einfuegen von /opt/mozilla/lib und anschliessendes Ausfuehren von ldconfig (wird so auch auf www.usr-local-bin.org empfohlen, war aber fuer 1.2.4 nicht notwendig!) 2. Installation von libgnomeui und libgnomeprintui von den SuSE 8.2 CDs 3. Installation der 1.4.3 Pakete Vielleicht hilft es ja jemandem :-) Hello, This is not directly a laptop issue, but since I'm only on SuSE-Laptop at the moment ... Until now I had no luck getting Evolution 1.4.x from www.usr-local-bin.org to run on either of my 8.2 boxen due to depency issues. Using 1.4.3 I got a solution now: 1. Edit /etc/ld.so.conf and append /opt/mozilla/lib to it and run ldconfig thereafter (this is recommended that way on www.usr-local-bin.org , but had not been necessary for 1.2.4!) 2.
