Hello guys!
I have a biiig problem!
I use a dual boot machine, win2k and linux, and from the linux part I have
the standard suse stuff, i.e. 2.2.18 and 2.4.0 bootable.
Now, with 2.4.0 everything is ok, BUT 2.2.18 gives me the following:
Somewhere during bootup, there is the line:
Found compressed image (or something like that)
Uncompressing........................
And then I get tons of dots, and dots, and dots, ... and nothing happens.
Pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del results in <stopping all services md(6)> or
somewhat similar.
Plus, the other problem I have:
I always get the message "couldn't fsck because root is not read-only".
I didn't change anything, so what could this be?
Can anybody help me, please?
Thanks in advance!
