GIMP and Inkscape are able to open it and save as x.xx or x.svg repectively but it does not keep one by one bit conversion. So it will need a really good graphic designer to fix it.
should be done with scribus, which is the tools for such documents, and pretty easy to copy if we have the basic artwork (geckos, background...)
it seems to be decided (on the artwork mailing list) to make what we can for 12.1, but meet again very soon after that to decide for the future.
May be we have to find a graphical chart for publications, not tied to the distro artwork, a bit like what we have for the trademark, extended to other documents
I wont have time for the 3 next days, but from oct 10, with luck, I may have some. If so, I will try to work on the flyer
but this is subject to changes independent of my will so if anybody want to do, do it!
thanks jdd
I just tried with Scribus 1.4.0 rc5 to open openSUSE brochure_v4.eps and I found 'Converting of 54 images failed!' . So I figure out it was a composition with GIMP, Scribus, Inkscape, ..... not easy to edit without missing or changing something not desirable Best, -- Ricardo Chung | Panama openSUSE Linux Ambassador openSUSE 11.4 | KDE 4.7 | Mesa-Nouveau 3D Linux for Education -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org
