I have an idea for a background of text (something like the green on black Matrix code, but horizontal) with rwx repeated, and openSUSE Conference 2011 in large text. A more meaningful printout of permissions for files could be interesting.
Or a retro word arrangement like this - these are some random words I threw together, an actual version would try to use some words from actual topics of discussion. and would tweak the colors, but something like this -
wow, I really like that, I think thats a great starting point for the conference T-Shirt - or a T-Shirt at all.
Thanks,

Awesome, I love it! Replace Novell with Attachmate and all is well :D Why not SUSE as it is a separate business unit which is sponosring us?
On the subject of the openSUSE Conference theme (the name should obviously just be 'openSUSE Conference'):
I personally feel rwx³ or rwxrwxrwx are quite geeky. I'm afraid many journalists will simply not care for it - which in turn gives us less press coverage. Collaboration Across Borders worked extremely well in this area - the media loved it and hence we got a lot of coverage.
Of course our own community will like rwx³ but - we don't have to sell the oSC to them but to people who aren't a part of our communit yet ;-)
Now I don't want to make a big deal out of this, the artwork Robert did is pretty neath imho and I'd love a t-shirt with that. Just like what Helen did, btw.
But let's wait a bit until the location is announced - one of the options (which I hope turns out to be possible) would offer opportunities for an entirely different and cooler conference slogan :D
