Probably depends on the emphasis in approach and the target audience...
If the purpose is to differentiate, then "OpenSUSE vs" whatever may be
appropriate and probably graphically compare distros side by side by
feature.
If the purpose is to say "OpenSUSE is more Friendly than your Average
Linux" that was the alt approach I was suggesting by symbolically
having Linux (penguin) embrace the Gecko (OpenSUSE). This approach
more likely would describe features but not emphasize comparisons to
specific other distros.
Both approaches are likely fine. The first approach might raise
hackles but be more to the point, the second less potentially
offensive but could result in fuzzy comparisons.

Nice :) But a penguin and stands for openSUSE too, or not? I think, we´re all penguins. It doesn´t matter if you like geckos, wear a red hat or have a star (Mandriva).
WE´RE ALL LINUX
The whole "openSUSE vs. Fedora" thread is just an idea to compare the distros and give _both_ projects feedback.
thanks kdl
