G'day folks,
Nice work Kostas (and Wolfgang!)
good to have some insight into Evergreen. I particularly like this
sort of human insight into the project.
Kostas, you should sign up to Linux.org if you haven't already, and
consider creating an article for there.
I think it's a good idea to get a broader audience and reach out to
the wider media.
Oy (Kai-Uwe Behrmann) recently took some time to explain the fantastic
Oyranos color management system to me, and I hope to have that article
ready for publication sometime soon; perhaps for Linux.org.
Linux Format just today expressed interest in the article I wrote
(with kind help from many of the community) on Participation for
non-technical users. So that's exciting and will have the names of
quite a few openSUSE contributors and projects mentioned in it.
I think we need to get the word out to contributors and developers
that we are here to get the word out about their work, and if they've
been making some progress or have something new to share, to get in
touch and tell us about it.
cheers
Helen

Hi I've been watching the evergreen project since day it started through its mailing list, unfortunately I cannot contribute as a programmer so I was trying to find ways to make some kind of contribution since I really liked the whole idea. Now some days ago I had this proposition to write an article about something cool on openSUSE project from a friend who has a web-zine that is really popular here in Greece. I thought about Evergreen and I ended up to take a short interview from Wolfgang. Give it a look at my blog http://e-tote-kala.blogspot.com/2011/01/what-is-evergreen-project.html (in English) or at the web-zine http://kigka.blogspot.com/2011/01/evergreen-project-wolfgang-rosenauer.html (in Greek). What do you think about it and do you share my opinion that we should start promoting more community projects?
