I have a few questions Jos and then I'll get back to you about what you asked me,if we create a distribution out of SUSE Studio is anyone having commercial rights for that product and who is that?
If you create anything in Studio based on openSUSE, you have to follow the openSUSE trademark guidelines. So, depending on the changes you have to remove the trademarks or ask for permission to use the trademark - which in a case like you describe expect to be granted.
Its creator or Novell? What is it's license? Isn't that product a FOSS Product?
It is, the only restriction here is using of trademarks.
Please let me know because we are a few steps behind on making a deal and I would like to be sure on what I am talking about to others, their concern is that none can have commercial rights and that the product(distribution) is free for anyone.
If you remove the openSUSE-branding packages, you have no problems at all,
Or if I don't,so that this way to promote openSUSE which is my Primary target,I could ask permission from the board to use it,right?
