I'm sitting here giving some final thoughts before our big day just 36
hours away... the launch of openSUSE 11.3.  it's amazing how Time is a
matter of perspective.  In the weeks and months leading up to 11.3, it
felt like the release day was so far away.  And now that it's finally
here, it feels like WOW!  So sudden!

They say in Marketing, you're supposed to measure your success by the
numbers.  But, I don't need numbers to measure the success of our
Marketing Team.  I already know we are a success.

It's been an interesting year so far for us.  We looked around, we
learned, we continue to learn and we keep working hard.  We didn't give
up.  We grew our team.  We looked around for new opportunities to reach
out to the world and be creative. Twenty-four hours a day, there was
always someone in this big world working on something to promote
openSUSE.  You all cared!

I can't begin to tell you how proud I am to be a part of this team.
Soon, we will take a rest and catch our breath.  You deserve it!  And
then get ready for whatever our next campaign will be.  And we know
there's definitely more to do.  But I'm not worried.  Because we're all
together and no matter where in the world you are, you're a part of this
great Team!
