I get what you're saying and I see potential. My only concern is People are frozen while the boy is running openSUSE? Doesn't that send the wrong message? :-)
Well maybe , actually I thought the other way . That people around the boy haven't seen something like that . In short just showcasing - openSUSE Attitude :-)
Maybe something else (if we can do some trick editing) like....
People are walking around in the park, it is black and white scene... People look dull and dreary. Young boy enters park and opens his laptop. Zoom in his finger pushing the power button. openSUSE Logo appears on the screen. All of a sudden loud powerful music. Boy turns his laptop around and aims the monitor all around him and people are suddenly in color and cheerful looking. The boy looks around and makes sure color is everywhere and is satisfied he has done his work well and closes his laptop. And leaves to his next destination. People dance and celebrate and shout and do funny things.
This sounds great too !
Video ends with list of some primary features.
Well I dont think this step would be a good one :-) . Instead of this we show a bit of credits and include features during the scenes .But still we can work this out too
New video following on this "openSUSE Boy Hero" concept. Boy is in a new location (something other than park) and does the same thing colorizing his world around him. Similar concept to other video and close the video with even more feature lists.
How about also, we change boy to girl, to show we are a community of both men and women?
Yeah ! I was about to mention that , say 1st scene - We show a boy and 2nd scene a girl. . .and so on ...
Just my thoughts.
Were definitely helpful :-)
