It is just that "Ambassadors events" as title is not really good.
I would look at that title to see where ambassadors will meet to discuss
marketing methods, present project, or simply spend time.
"Events" alone is used in many topics and it should not be used for social
events without any additional word explaining what kind of event it is. For
instance we have events in the software used to trigger actions.
"Marketing events" would be probably the most precise designation for majority
of events, but some of events that an lend in the list are "Professional
events" where pros exchange ideas.
"International events" is probably the best choice. In international community
as openSUSE there is always someone that can consider an event as
international. In organization of that category we can create subcategories by
continent, country, city, etc, so that people can access articles that way
too.

I am not sure whether to use "International" or not . As for me (staying
in India) events in Germnay or US is an International even which will
not be same for the residents over there and as we focus on the majority
this naming wont sound good.Instead "Internal" and "External" is better
IMO. As internal would define the ones by openSUSE (like conferences)
and External would be Externals :-) (like Linuxtags and all).
