mid august we organize linux install fests. I was hoping as the
scheduled release date for openSUSE 11.3 is 15th July, 2010, can I get
around 50 DVDs of the same. During this time, we have our new session
beginning and we have around 100 freshmen attending our install fest.

I hope we have them at that time, please ask back once we announce
availabilty of 11.3 media,

This topic is about Promo DVD, isn't it?

One thing I'm wondering is, why iso image of the Promo DVD is available
only for Novell persons?

Note: Prome DVD is different from Install DVDs, of which images are
available for everyone.

If we can download the iso image directly, we can burn Promo DVDs by
ourselves, when we need small amount of DVDs.

Michl, could you give some details, please?

Of course officially produced Promo DVDs look better than hand-made
DVDs, but when we need only 10 DVDs, downloading iso and burning DVDs by
ourselves might be a reasonable option.

In addition, since only limited languages are available on Promo DVD, it
would be helpful if we can get kiwi settings for Promo DVD, so that we
can replace packages as needed and make customized Promo DVDs by ourselves.

Imagine, if a Japanese user who is not used to Linux get Promo DVD at an
event and try to use it in Live mode, she may feel disappointed because
she can't handle Japanese with it. :-(
