I'm taking a stab at this as well, should have a draft ready tonight...
I'm focusing on the recent factory talk about Kernel 2.26.34 RC2, inclusion of VirtualBox Guest tools in the Live CDs, and whatever other feature requests I can find that closed. Apologies again for the late notice on M3, but I needed to find a workflow that worked for me. Using the openFATE search for recently closed features, and bugzilla for recently closed bugs, helped much in finding changes that were interesting. Also, I'm rather fond of the idea of making the notes more interesting for the reader - I tried to do that in the M3 notes by asking *who* a particular feature/bugfix would benefit, and *why*.
