I'd like to ask you:
1) Are you satisfied and having fun with editing/translating Weekly News? In case the answer is not "Yes", please tell us the reason, if you can point out.
In general yes. I know I'm having some difficulties lately to manage my time But after a call for translator from Sascha, there is 1 volunteer join. So now it really fun :-)
2) Do you have any good ideas, proposals and opinions to make Weekly News much more interesting and attractive both for readers and editors/translators? "It would be interesting at least for me, if we ..." is considered a good answer. ;-)
Hmm... like gnokii mentioned, maybe someone interest to read Weekly News will go directly to English version. We can see in statistic for accessing the page, for the last edition English accessed 3000 times and other translation never closed to English. Indonesia only 200. But I agree that making a good translation might attrack more people to read the English version. I missed People of openSUSE as one of genuine article of OWN.
3) Is the meeting time - 14:30 UTC alternate Saturdays - convenient for you? Over 1 year has passed since we fixed the time, it might be good chance to reconsider the better time for meetings. Or, if you think we had better discuss topics on another channel such as mailinglist, forum, Google Wave, etc., which is unaffected by time, please tell us your recommendation.
I think the time for the meeting is OK. I'm in UTC+7. Considering my personal condition, at least in the past 6 months and maybe for the next 6 months it is difficult for me to follow. I hope I can manage my time better to follow the meeting. I know that someone is always around in our channel, so if we have free time maybe start talking /chatting with each other not only for the meeting is a good start to enjoy our work ;-) regards, -- medwinz ======================= http://medwinz.blogsome.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org
